I just got an email today from Gabriel confirming that our Article 5 letter was delivered to CCAA a day earlier than expected...on October 12th. Here is the email he sent:
I just got confirmation this morning. Your “article 5 letter” was picked up and sent to CCAA 2 days ago. I hope that the travel approval will show up by the end of October. If that is true, then we may be able to have you back before Thanksgiving, although it all depends on the date when the TA arrives and the availability of a spot for the US Consulate appointment.
I put a reminder (please do the same!) for next Thursday, to check with our liaison about the status of your case.

So now we are waiting ONLY for travel approval! I told the kids yesterday morning at breakfast that our Article 5 letter was to be delivered in China that day and this meant we have just one more thing we are waiting on in order to bring Chun Le home. They both got those huge lit up eyes and could not believe we are getting this close to finally meeting Chun Le--then Isaac went on to do a little hip hop or jig type of dance across the kitchen floor in celebration of the good news. :) This is good news! Please praise the Lord with us for this update in our adoption journey.
