We have decided to enter the world of blogging in order to share with family and friends our journey to becoming a family of five. We are in the process of an international adoption and are very excited to share updates along this journey.

Christmas 2012
I finally got around to downloading any pictures we have taken in December and the first few days of January and thought I better post a few from Christmas on our blog. I was surprised really at how few pictures we did take (and even fewer of them turned out good). Here are a few from this past month:
The above two were taken on the afternoon of Isaac's preschool class holiday performance and party.
The next few are from Christmas Eve. It is traditional for us to spend Christmas Eve with Jill's family. This year we changed up our hot ham-n-cheese sandwiches for dinner to going out to Aodake (hibachi grill restaurant). It was delicious and the kids (and adults) enjoy the "show" put on by the chef. Then we attended the First Baptist Church of DG Christmas Eve service before coming back to Susan and Enrique's place where the kids excitedly opened their gifts. As you can see from a few of the photos, the kids were just silly crazy happy to be together and celebrating Christmas.
We had a quiet Christmas day with just our family at home. That was very nice! We all needed some extra sleep and down time after a fun and late Christmas Eve. Here are just a couple pics that I took that morning when the kids opened their gifts. I just did not have the camera out a lot this Christmas for some reason.
Then, a few days later on December 28th we hosted the Stowers family Christmas get together at our place. Even Phil's brother, Andy, was able to make it all the way from Kansas. It was so nice to have all of us together as that does not happen but once or twice a year typically. Again, we hardly had the camera out, so not too much to show...but we had a cute picture of the kids with Uncle Andy taken shortly before he was leaving.
We have enjoyed all the cards and photos sent from so many of our family and friends over the holidays and hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I am sure I will be on the blog again soon as Chun Le turns 3 years old in just 6 days!!!

You've done much better than I have - haven't had time to download the few pictures I did take in Richmond! I love the silly ones the best - better to use on their pre-wedding videos!
