Letter of Approval Arrived!

We got back from AWANA awards night on Wednesday and found a big envelope in our mailbox from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Inside was the long awaited letter of approval from USCIS that our fingerprints cleared! This is the last document that must be included in our dossier that we have been waiting on. So tomorrow morning--in the predicted rain, wind, and brisk (42oF high) weather--I am going to be taking the train to Chicago and walking to the Secretary of State and Chinese Consulate offices in order to get that document authenticated. The Chinese Consulate will then mail it to our agency in the next 5-7 business days. Once they receive it on to China it travels!!!! Finally our paperwork will be reaching China in the next couple of weeks. One step closer to meeting our daughter. :)
