Still waiting.....

I should have never tried to make a prediction about when we would get our letter of confirmation in that last post. :) Here we are, more than 3 weeks later, still waiting (sigh!). Gabriel from our agency did let us know that CCAA got all of our corrected medical information that was sent a couple of weeks ago but no news on the status of our letter of confirmation. He emailed his liason in China this week to see if they can find out any updates on the status of our file but has not heard back anything. Gabriel thinks the slower than usual pace of CCAA lately is due to the fact that there have been signficant increases lately in the number of special needs adoptions being processed in China. That is a good thing for all the children waiting for forever families so if that means we need to wait longer than we hoped I am glad it is for that reason!
