News from our Agency

We got a call today from Gabriel stating that CCAA needs some clarification on my medical records. All of us overlooked the fact that my medical form had an error in it...My doctor mistakenly circled that I was HIV positive instead of HIV negative!! I had not noticed this nor did Gabriel prior to sending it off as part of our dossier. So today was spent on the phone and back and forth trips to my doctor's office (thankfully only 1 mile down the road from our home) verifying that indeed I am HIV negative :) and having her write a letter stating this incorrect information that now has to be translated and sent to the CCAA. So a little tiny bump in our paperwork journey seems to be on its way to being fixed. Gabriel is having a copy of the letter my doctor wrote translated into Chinese and I sent the original copy of the letter to our agency's Oregon office this afternoon. All the corrected info should be in China in the next few days and Gabriel thinks that it is likely that means our Letter of Acceptance (LOA) will be sent to us once they receive confirmation of my medical record mistake. So likely we will be receiving our much awaited LOA in the next 7-10 days or so!!! Can't wait!!!

  2. If you contracted anything in your college days it would have been something related to cleaning products or chemistry-related supplies. You are one of the least likely people to have some disease that is typically picked up from living a wild lifestyle.

Since you posted this about 8 days ago I bet you'll be getting that letter any day now. :) So excited for you all!!
