We Have a Log In Date with the CCAA

We got a call today from our agency letting us know that we were logged in with CCAA (China Center of Adoption Affairs) on May 30th! The China coordinator at our agency had been in back and forth email contact with their China liason who was not able to get much info from the CCAA until today when he found out that we already had our log in date on May 30th. So now our paperwork gets passed to a few differnt departments within the CCAA where it will finally receive an "official approval" and we will be sent what is called the LOA (letter of acceptance) for adopting our daughter! Average wait times from log in date to LOA are around 52 days according to adoption forums on the internet. Some are faster, some slower...with really no rhyme or reason why some are fast and others slow. Our agency China coordinator whom we spoke with today said that if we don't get an LOA by June 29th he will have the liason in China find out where it is "in process". So possibly in a month...please pray that is so!...we will be getting our LOA. After the LOA it is typically around 8-11 weeks to travel to bring our daughter home since there are, of course, another batch of documents/paperwork that need to be filled out and approved through the US for visa approval, etc. Today's news is good so let's praise God for being one step closer to adoption. :)
