Surprise....TA arrived!!!

This adoption journey can be such a rollercoaster of emotions. We were warned about that and have experienced it again and again! So, just when we were mentally beginning to plan on a later travel date, Gabriel calls at 1pm today and TA arrived in the mail! Thank you for prayers on our behalf. For the past hour or so I have been in a flurry of activity looking into flights and we booked one to leave Friday, Nov 18th with a return home flight on Thursday, Dec 1st. We have 24 hours to cancel this reservation with no charge to us. Gabriel should have the confirmation of whether or not we get the US Consulate appointment (for Nov 29th)by then. If for some reason we can't get a consulate appointment on Nov 29th or 30th then we will have to delay our travel by one week. Sure hoping for a leaving date of Nov 18th though. My surgery recovery is going OK and family is watching the kids for me all day today so I can get extra rest and limit my talking. Perfect timing as it gave me undistracted time to work on details and booking the flight for our China trip.
