Where oh Where is our TA????

We sure thought that we would be posting our travel dates this weekend sometime, but instead we are still waiting on travel approval. As you saw in the last post, supposedly our travel approval was sent from China on Tuesday (China time) so our agency expected that they would receive it in their Oregon headquarters office on Thursday or Friday. But it did not show up. This is a bit disappointing as the waiting continues. But we did talk travel date possibilities with Gabriel and are hoping to travel Nov 18 - Nov 30th assuming TA arrives on Monday and he can get an appointment date at the US Consulate in China for Nov 28th. That is the tentative plan at this point but things may change slightly depending on when TA arrives and what dates are open at the Consulate. Will keep you posted!!!

  2. This has to be so frustrating! I think about you guys all the time and am always so hopeful you're getting definite news any day. We talked a long time ago about how we'll be in your area for my cousin's wedding next weekend and maybe we could get together. I hadn't mentioned it again, thinking and hoping that you'd be in China at that time! However, maybe you won't be yet. The wedding is Saturday, the 12th and we'll be busy with that, but that Sunday, the 13th is Buford's 30th birthday. We were planning on having a lunch before heading back home. My brother and his girlfriend are heading to the Bears game, but my parents should be joining us if Mom is up to it (not sure if anyone has told you she had to have major emergency surgery a couple weeks back, but is doing well now).

I know you often have church obligations on Sunday, but if you are available, we'd love to have you all join us! Cooper will be with us, so we have the added issue of not being able to do anything too late with nap times, so probably shooting to head somewhere by noon. If it's not a possibility, we understand, but would love to see you if it could be. We're staying at the Lisle/Naperville Hilton, which is where the reception is. I'm assuming that's fairly close to you. Let me know if any of that is a possibility. In the mean time I'll keep sending prayers for you to get some news on finally getting to your Chun Le!

    Love,

    Jenna
